WHAT

This guide will demonstrate the process of clocking in and out via ExakTime Mobile.

 

WHY

It is our company policy that all craft clock themselves in and out daily for accuracy, efficiency and productivity tracking.

 

HOW

See below for step-by-step instructions.

 

Clocking IN

1: Open ExakTime on the iPad.

2: Enter your PIN and press the arrow button to log in.

        Note: Your PIN is the same as your Employee ID. Please see your foreman if you don't know your Employee ID.

 

3: Click the "GO" button.

 

4: Search and select your project.

 

5: Select the cost code that matches your assigned task.

 

6: You'll get a confirmation screen that your clock-in was successful.

        Note: If you have Foreman access, you will need to log out before the next person can clock-in.

 

 

 

Clocking OUT

1: Open ExakTime on the iPad.

2: Enter your PIN and press the arrow button to log in.

        Note: Your PIN is the same as your Employee ID. Please see your foreman if you don't know your Employee ID.


3: Click the "STOP" button.

 

4: Confirm that you are leaving your shift without being injured.

  • If you answered "No" meaning that you were injured on this shift, then you must provide an explanation of your injury. If you clicked "No" by mistake, click the 'Back' arrow button to change your answer on the previous screen.
  • If you try to continue without providing an explanation, a pop-up message will let you know that this explanation field is required.

 

5: Confirm that you were provided an opportunity to take uninterrupted MEAL BREAK(s) within five (5) hours of starting your shift.

  • If you answered "No" meaning that you were not given the opportunity to take uninterrupted meal(s) and rest break(s) on this shift, then you must provide an explanation. If you clicked "No" by mistake, click the 'Back' arrow button to change your answer on the previous screen.
  • If you try to continue without providing an explanation, a pop-up message will let you know that this explanation field is required.

 

6: Confirm that you were provided an opportunity to take uninterrupted REST BREAK(s).

  • If you answered "No" meaning that you were not given the opportunity to take uninterrupted rest break(s) on this shift, then you must provide an explanation. If you clicked "No" by mistake, click the 'Back' arrow button to change your answer on the previous screen.
  • If you try to continue without providing an explanation, a pop-up message will let you know that this explanation field is required.


7: Your signature certifies that all of the information you provided is accurate. Sign and click "Next".

Note: If you try to continue without signing, a pop-up message will let you know that your signature is required.  

 

6: You'll get a confirmation screen that your clock-out was successful.

        Note: If you have Foreman access, you will need to log out before the next person can clock-out.

 

 

Rounding Rules

The first start and last stop time will be rounded to the nearest half-hour increment.

 

Any punch between 6:15am and 6:44am will round to 6:00am

Any punch between 6:45am and 7:14am will round to 7:00am

 

Any punch between 3:15pm and 3:44pm will round to 3:30pm

Any punch between 4:45pm and 5:14pm will round to 5:00pm
