Error in Autofill from Previous Week - did not click "Also copy details and comments box"
If you miss step 9 of the Autofill from previous week timecard process in Workday, your time details (Region, Cost Center, location etc.) do not populate and you will receive an error when submitting your time that will not allow you to move forward until you fix it. Below are instructions on how to fix the error and submit your time.
After selecting the week and autofilling your time, if you receive the error below, this solution will walk you through how to fix it:
STEP 1: You have a red error at the top of your screen. Click view all.
STEP 2: Verify your error is the same as above for each day time was entered.
STEP 3: Click on the first time block affected (If you autofilled, most likely all your days are affected, so you will need to fix them one by one with these instructions)
STEP 4: When opened, the worktags (Region, Cost Center, Location) should be blank. If they are NOT blank, do not edit the time block.
STEP 5: In the hours field, edit the hours by typing a ".1" after next to the hours previously entered.
STEP 6: Press TAB. You should see all the worktags populate.
STEP 7: Go back into the Hours field and delete the ".1" that was entered. (Basically you need to modify the hours to get the details to populate, then go back in and fix the hours)
STEP 8: Click OK.
STEP 9: Repeat this process for each affected time block/day.
