Related Objects in CMiC, such as a Submittal to an Issue

OVERVIEW

A Related Object is a another "Record" in the system. For example, you can link a Communication Item to this issue.

STEP 1: Click the Communication Management>Issues.

STEP 2: Click an Existing Issue.

STEP 3: Click the Related Objects link.

STEP 4: Click the Assign Objects button.

STEP 5: Click the Communication option (in the Option Type drop down).

STEP 6: Click the box to the desired Communication record.

STEP 7: Click the Accept button.
