Logging In When You Have Multiple User ID's
When You Have Both a Swinerton (GC) User ID and a Swinerton (SUB) User ID (aka External User) -
OVERVIEW: Swinerton has several sub-to-self operating groups that are set up as separate vendors within CMiC. This solution will show you how to login to CMiC as a Subcontractor vs. logging in as the GC. Your regular login and password will allow you to login to your Swinerton (GC) projects at all times. You will only need your Swinerton SUB login information when you are a Subcontractor to a Swinerton GC Project (example is being added to a job under 00000496 SWINERTON BUILDERS).
Swinerton GC Login (used to manage your SPW job): Username example - guser or general.user
Swinerton SUB Login (used to log into the GC project as a subcontractor for RFI's and Submittals): Username example user.general
STEP 1: Once an External User Request has been initiated by the Swinerton GC team, you will get a separate login and password issued to you as a Subcontractor
(your Subcontractor/External User "Username" will always be LastName.FirstName)
STEP 2: You can change your external user password HERE.
WHEN TO USE YOUR SUB LOGIN ACCOUNT: As a subcontractor to Swinerton, you will need to log into the GC project as a subcontractor to complete RFI's and Submittals for the Swinerton GC project.
HOW TO LOG IN
Since CMiC is now part of Single Sign On, you will need to open CMiC in an Incognito browser in order to log in as a sub. Follow these instructions:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More
New Incognito Window.
- A new window appears. In the top corner, check for the Incognito icon
