Known Issue: In Project Maintenance>Defaults tab, there is a new flag called "Activity Start Date of Submittal is Required" that is automatically defaulting to being checked on new jobs. This is causing the "Due Onsite" field (formally labeled the "Activity Start Date" field) to be asterisked/required on the Submittal Detail tab on all new jobs. For all existing jobs, this flag in Project Maintenance has been manually set to be unchecked on the back-end by Btech.

NOTE: This issue is not affecting the submittal import template process. Imported submittals without Activity Start dates included should still import without error.

Workaround: If the asterisk is showing next to the "Due Onsite" field on the Submittal Detail tab, and Project Team does NOT want this field to be required, the Project Team will need to go into Project Maintenance and uncheck this box.

If asterisk is NOT showing next to the "Due Onsite" field, and Project DOES want this field to be required, the Project Team will need to go into Project Maintenance and uncheck this box.

NOTE: Resolution to this issue is in progress. Once resolved, new jobs will no longer automatically default to requiring a Due Onsite date.
