Create Space in Camunda Modeler
Create Space Locally
- Click on the Create/Remove Space Tool in the Elements Palette on the left-hand side of the page.
- Your cursor will change to crosshairs.
- Move your cursor to where you want to create space. (If you click inside a pool, you will create space "locally" inside the pool. If you click outside of a pool, you will create space "globally".)

Click and hold while dragging your cursor to the right to create horizontal space in your diagram
or
Click and hold while dragging your cursor down to create vertical space in your diagram.

Create Space Globally
- Click on the Create/Remove Space Tool in the Elements Palette on the left-hand side of the page.
- Your cursor will change to crosshairs.
- Move your cursor to where you want to create space.

Press the Shift key as you click and hold while dragging your cursor to the right to create horizontal space in your diagram
or
Press the Shift key as you click and hold while dragging your cursor down to create vertical space in your diagram.
