Change a Data Element Type

From the Context Pad, you can change from one Data Element to another (e.g. change from a Data Object to a Data Store).

Select the Data Element you wish to change.
The Context Pad will appear above the selected Data Element.
Click on the Change Element icon (the left-most icon on the Context Pad, that looks like a rounded rectangle overlapping a circle).
The list of available Data Element types will appear.
Select which type you wish to apply.
